Thanet Chamber Choir

On this site you’ll find thousands of sound files for the individual voice parts to anthems, cantatas, hymns, carols, masses, oratorios,  you name it. These files can either be played directly from the site or else can be saved to your computer, tablet or phone.

Scroll to the bottom of this page and you’ll find links to some of the music we’ll be performing at November’s concert.

As this particular program deviates somewhat from the standard choral repertoire, there are gaps; there are no files for The Reluctant Dragon nor for any but one of the nursery rhyme arrangements.

  1. Clicking on an item will take you to the page (in a new tab) containing the rehearsal files for this piece.
  2. When the page opens, click on your chosen part (SATB)
  3. From the black page that opens up you will be able to play, pause or rewind the sound file. Clicking on the three vertical dots to the right of the progress bar will give you options to download the file and also to change the tempo.

All the while Thanet Chamber Choir has a paid membership (four months initially) you have access to any file on the site.

Even without a paid membership anyone can listen to and download files for works that are out of copyright (normally seventy years after the death of the composer).
