I need your permission to store your name, username and email address so that, whenever you logon, I can check that your are entitled to use my sound files. If you don’t Opt-In to this Privacy Policy, then I won’t be able to do that.

Your privacy is very important to me. At JohnF’s Rehearsal Files I have a few fundamental principles that I follow:

  • I don’t ask you for personal information unless I truly need it;
  • I don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop my site, or protect my rights;
  • I don’t store personal information on my host’s servers unless required for the on-going operation of my site.

It is JohnF’s Rehearsal Site’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information I may collect while operating my website.

Here at JohnF’s Rehearsal Files I take your privacy seriously and will use your personal information to administer your account and to check that you have the right access to the rehearsal files available at your subscription level.

Before you can become a member, you need to tell me that you are happy that you are giving me some data about yourself, and that I can use that data to identify your status. You do this by checking the tick box on the Registration page.

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, JohnF’s Rehearsal Site collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. JohnF’s Rehearsal Site’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to understand better how JohnF’s Rehearsal Site visitors use its website. From time to time, JohnF’s Rehearsal Site may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

From time to time I may contact you regarding a request you have made, and I will always notify you when the rehearsal files you may have asked for are ready.

As I don’t have your postal address or your phone numbers, the only way I will ever contact you is via email.

What information about you do I hold?

You can always see what personal information you have given me by choosing YOUR ACCOUNT>ACCOUNT. This information is stored on my host’s servers (SiteGround). This is SiteGround’s Privacy Policy and here are their Terms and Conditions.

If you buy a paid-for subscription on my site, no identifiable data is kept on my site; rather, your payment is managed either by PayPal, or by Stripe. Their privacy policies are here;

If you want me to remove this information

Choose HELP>CONTACT ME and say you want me to remove your information. Be aware that, in order to check on your eligibility to access the files, I need access to your email address. If I carry out your request to remove your data from my site, you will no longer have access to the sound files.

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, JohnF’s Rehearsal Site may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and at JohnF’s Rehearsal Site’s sole discretion. JohnF’s Rehearsal Site encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
